Star Wars POTF - Snowtrooper

Snowtroopers, more correctly called Cold Assault Stormtroopers are specially trained in cold weather warfare.  Their equipment is modified to include a self-contained heating system, air-tight outer shell and polarized snow goggles.

The Cold Assault Stormtroopers finest hour came with the destruction of Echo Base on Hoth and the routing of the Rebel garrison stationed there.
